FFF with the Greeting Farm - More Fabulous Previews of the Sunshine Kit

Happy Happy Friday!  I'm so thrilled that it's Friday you have no idea!
But it's busy day here on my blog.  I have 3 posts to make today, one of which will come later tonight!

But right now, I have a very very adorable scrapbook page to show you.  I followed this weeks Farm Fresh Friday Sketch that Mercy created.  Many of you will make cards, but I just HAD to show you more creative ideas with TGF's newest Scrapbooking Kit.  Many of you may have seen previews yesterday, and some lucky person won the set!  =)  The "Sunshine" kit is going to be a huge hit, I'm sure of that!  I know I fell in love with it the minute I saw it!  I just can't get enough of it!  LOL

If you've been to the Greeting Farm's Blog, then you've already seen what Mercy's sketch for this weeks Farm Fresh Friday looks like, right?  But I thought I would share it here as well, to show you what I based my scrapbook page on.

Since I REALLY wanted to incorporate as many of the new stamps from the Sunshine kit as I possibly could, I decided that I would start with a textured white 8x8 piece of paper.  I then began picking different stamps from the Sunshine kit to use to create my background.  Planning the layout according to Mercy's sketch, I then began stamping directly on the white textured cardstock.  Using my copics, I lightly colored the images in, and  I was already loving the result that I was seeing!

Placement of the elements was easy, and then adding the picture is of my niece was loads of fun. I have ALWAYS loved this picture of her.

After the picture was added, I stamped 2 birds with Blue ink, outlined them in black so that the wings would remain blue, and then colored them with copics as well.  I added a little bit of clear glitter gel to the wings, and to the petals of the flowers and the wings of the dragonflies for a little bit of definition.

The journaling tag was stamped twice, once on the blue DP that I used as a border for the picture, and again on white cardstock.  I then trimmed the outer edge off of the white piece so it pops up a tiny bit adding some dimension.  I inked the sentiment with sand color, and sun color inks, and the flower was stamped from this kit as well.

I'm actually counted, I have incorporated 8 of the stamps on this page from the new Sunshine Kit.  The little stitching that looks like "X's" counts too.  What a fun time I had with Mercy's sketch making it into a cute scrap page of my niece.

Okay, so what are you waiting for?  Want to join in on the fun?  Head over to The Greeting Farm's blog and play along with this weeks Farm Fresh Friday Challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by - I hope you've enjoyed the 2nd day of previewing these adorable new stamps.  =)
