I'm Seeing "RED" With Belles 'n Whistles

Greetings Everyone!!!
It's Challenge Day over on The Belles 'n Whistles Blog.  Have you all been visiting the blog and seeing all the the awesome creations being shown by the DT?  You can't help but to be inspired, that's for sure.

So anyway, this weeks challenge.... I'm sure you'd love to know what we are doing, right?  Well it's SOOOO SIMPLE!!!  All you have to do is use the color RED.  I TOLD YOU it was SIMPLE!  Ohhhh, and of course you'll need to use one of those adorable Belles 'n Whistles stamps.

I decided that I would take my creativity for this weeks challenge into a "Patriotic" direction.  LOL  So in using the color RED, I just had to add the colors "White" & "Blue".  Especially this time of the year.  This coming weekend we (here in America) will be celebrating "Independence Day" or also known to many as "The 4th Of July".  So even if you aren't from the USA, I'm sure you've heard about this holiday.

Anyway, enough about all of that...
I decided to make my patriotic card an easel card.  It's a tiny bit different than the usual easel cards, in that the front isn't a solid square piece.  Mine is sort of a shaped easel card... is that possible?  Well I think this is as close as it gets!

What do you think?

I used "Princess Tales" from the newest "Forever Young" collection from Belles 'n Whistles.  Isn't she just darling?

And I decided that I really had to start getting good use out of all my scraps, since I've been over run by odds and ends.  I refuse to make more room for them, so instead, I'm digging into the scrap drawers!  These papers are  from DCWV I believe, but I can't be sure.  It's hard to say when using scraps, right?

Hmmmm, what more can I say here?  Probably not much, other than my adorable little princess is colored with Copics, and the sentiment is from The Greeting Farm.

Considering the fact that I ALWAYS am invited to a 4th of July party at my friends parents.  It's a big celebration that I believe started out being for family, friends, and their employees.  Well I've been going to that party each and every year since I was 15.  I can't break tradition... LOL  I thought I would give this card to my friends parents, since their parties and fireworks always seem to be the highlight of my summer vacation!  Sure I do other things, but until that party happens, I don't usually feel like my Summer has really started!

Alright, that's enough chatter....  I'm looking forward to seeing what entries we have.  We'd love to have you play along with us, and of course upload your creations into Belles Photo Gallery.  =)  She absolutely LOVES collecting images of your creations!  *wink*

Thanks so much for stopping by.  -  Wishing you all a GREAT week!
