Are you ready for some.... Challenges???

Here we are, Friday already....  I think this week seemed to drag on and on, but now that I write this post, it seems like I just did this post...  So don't ask me.... I think I am losing my mind.  ha ha....

I have a very handsome couple to show you today for this weeks challenge over at The Stamping Bazaar!  Our challenge is "Anniversary".  So with that being said, this very handsome couple are remembering how it all started....  =)

I used Louisa and Leoncio and colored these sweeties with Copics.  I have to say, I've always been a fan of lions etc, but these two take the cake.  I think I'm in love with THEM, as much as they are in love with each other... ha ha....     Check out the Cuddly Critters over at The Stamping Bazaars Shop.  You will fall in love!  Marina Neira sure can make a girls heart melt with her adorable designs.

I hope you can find some crafting time this week, and come play along with us, everyone can use some anniversary cards, right?

Now, how about Phindy's Place?  We have some "HOT STUFF" going on over there this week.  LOL  Yes I do think I'm funny, don't mind me at all, I'm a tad bit tired this week.  The challenge this week at Phindy's Place is really titled "Hot Stuff", but all you have to do is use warm colors or sunshine...  After the way this winter has been, I SURE COULD use some summer sun myself.
I decided to try something a little bit different this week.

I created a gate fold card, but kept the actual card fairly simple, because the piece that this adorable little "Seaside baby" is actually attached to a band that slides off of the card, so the card can be opened.

Does this sound confusing?  Okay, so I have a picture of the front of the card with the band on.....

and then the card opened up....  If you look closely at the sides, you can see that there is no band attached, and that's because the band with the image slides off completely.

The sunny flower faces and the sentiment that I used here are not from Phindy's, but rather from The Greeting Farm's "Sunshine" Scrap Kit.  I just couldn't help myself, it seemed to go PERFECTLY with the adorable little Seaside Baby  (You can find her here).

We'd love to have you join us for this "Hot" challenge this week.  You don't HAVE TO use a Phindy's image to enter, but if you do, you'll get an extra entry for the random drawing.  Can't beat that, right?

Just a quick reminder....  at 10:00PM (Arizona Time) The Digi Bells are holding a blog hop to show off Elisabeth Bells newest Digi Release.  OH MY... You are going to LOVE LOVE LOVE what you see, I just know it....

So please stay tuned, I will be back later tonight with my post for that.  =)

Fab card Lynda. Nice idea to create a band for the gatefold card. Love your hot and zingy colours on the paper and fab colouring.
