Sparkly Cheer in Monochromatic Tones

Happy Monday!!!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Here in NY we got hit with some pretty cold temperatures, and even some snow.
YUCK - I'm just not looking forward to winter.

It's that time of the month again,
time for a new challenge over on Elisabeth Bells World Challenge Blog.
You are NOT going to want to miss out on this months challenge.
The prize this month is AWESOME!

Nikki from Polkadoodles, is sponsoring us, and is offereing the winner FIVE beautiful Belles 'n Whistles Stamps!

The challenge this month is to color Monochromatic!
So that's just what I did....
This is the very first time I attempted to color even the skin and hair in the same monochromatic color scheme.  It felt a bit different to do, but I think I do like the outcome.

What do you think?

I kept the card itself fairly simple, because I really wanted the focus to be on the image.
I also have to say that I have NO IDEA why my little gems inside the flowers are appearing to be more blue in this photograph.  Must mean the camera flash decided to play tricks on me.
When looking at the card with your eyes, those little gems are actually closer to the darkest color on this sweet girls boots.

I've used copics for my coloring, all in the Blue/Green Color Scheme.
BG0000, BG10, BG32, BG45, BG09
And a touch of W5, as well as BV00, and BV11 for shading purposes.

Here is a close up of just this darling "Christmas Bells" Digi Stamp from Elisabeth Bells Digital Collection.

I've entered this cutie into these challenges:

Wonderful card, Lynda! I love the colors you chose! I've never done the skin in color before, but it looks cool! Great details!
