Lissy Bee Stamps Debut..... "Be My Friend" Collection

Welcome Friends.... Today is the BIG DAY!  The Debut of Elisabeth Bell's newest line of stamps.
We are excited to be a part of this excitement.  To celebrate, we are having a blog hop!
This is the FIRST of many releases, of the new "Lissy Bee Stamps" line, being presented to you by The Lissy Bee Stamps DT.

Hopefully you've arrived here from our dear Althea's blog, but if not, don't worry, you can always start at the beginning.  I would hate for you to miss a single piece of some awesome inspiration, and the new darling
Lissy Bee Stamps "Be my friend Collection"

I can not even tell you how truly excited each of us have been to be part of this new adventure.
After hopping with us today, we are sure that you will find yourself just as excited as we have been.

I'm sure that you have already seen some amazing creations along the way.  Are you in LOVE or what?  Beautiful work!!!

I have had the pleasure of working with
** ROSEBUD **

I have created an adorable apple basket and gift tag/card to go with it.

I have to say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the way this set turned out.

A closer photo of the tag

Completely ADORABLE, Right?

and the basket by itself

I didn't use any template for the basket, I just kind of figured it out as I went along. First I figured out how wide my strips of paper needed to be, then allowed for space in between strips, and it all just seemed to fall into place after that.  The apple paper is actually stamped and hand colored.  Yes I took the time to do that, because I thought it would make the absolute most perfect paper for just such a project.  Of course my tag uses the same paper so that this makes the perfect set.  Everything was colored using my Copic markers, and a couple of Prisma Colored pencils. (Colors are listed below if interested)

But this basket and gift card isn't all that I have to share with you today.

I've also created a unique fold card using
** STORY TIME **

What a darling little guy!!!

I told you he was "CUTE AS CAN BE"....

Here is an "open" view of the card....

Does this type of fold have a specific name?  I have no idea, but I thought it looked interesting, so of course I had to give it a try.  I love how it turned out.

This darling "Story Time" stamp was also colored with Copic markers, and a couple of Prisma Colored Pencils. Again if your interested, the colors are listed below.
The papers I used are from DCWV.
I made the larger glittery star embellishments by layering several stars together, gluing them, then running them through my cuddle bug, using my bubble style embossing folder. Then I topped them with Stickles, and they became the perfect embellishments.  I've also added some metal eyelets, and there you have it.  The perfect little boys card.

So what's a blog hop without any prizes????

We have PRIZES....
So make sure to leave comments along the way.  Your final stop will be the "Queen Bee" herself, Elisabeth Bell's Blog (last on the list), so please make sure to leave her some love, and let her know what you think!

We will pick ONE lucky winner who will win THREE stamps of their choice from the "Bee My Friend" collection that we are showcasing today.  PLUS a Digital Stamp of your choice as well, from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection.  WAIT.... There's more.....  TWO lucky commenters will be chosen at random from 2 of our DT Blog comments, to win ONE stamp of their choice.    So please make sure you leave a comment on each blog to increase your chance to be a winner!

So please be sure to leave a comment before you jump on over to our very Creative, Carla's Blog

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment.  It's always so encouraging to read what others have to say  =)

Just terrific job with these two stamps. I should think you would be happy with the way the basket and tag turned out. They are amazingly beautiful. This is one of the nicest pairings I've seen in a very long time. Your second image was colored up so nicely and I love the stars you have in the paper and on the card itself. Wonderful job with both. Have a fun week ahead.

WAUW these projects here are simply amazing, and I absolutely love everything here. It is simply stunning and what a lot of work, you´ve put into this by also making the paper yourself, but the result sure shows it was worth it.

Oh Lynda... am I permitted to gush a little? :o) I think this is the first blog hop I've done all year (it's been a rough one!) and I cannot tell you the warm fuzzies your projects gave me! I've missed visiting you talented ladies. Both of your projects are beautiful in every facet, filled with the same love and attention to detail that Elisabeth gives her images. :o) What a stunning showcase from your crafty heart! The fancy fold with Story Time is fabulous and I am in love with Rosebud's sweet basket! Your hand-stamped paper is masterful. Inspiring creations, which is always the case with this team. :o)

Hugs and blessings,
Karen
