Happy Monday!!! I finally have had enough energy to work on a few things this past weekend. Boy oh boy, last week I was 100% exhausted every day, and never even picked up a single paper, or Copic marker, or touched a stamp. Can you believe it? But I feel rested and had some good crafting time over the weekend, and I'm back on track. (well lets hope it stays that way) ha ha
We have another fabulous challenge going on over at the Roses On Paper / Belles 'n Whistles challenge blog this week. This time it's an awesome sketch by our ever so talented Iris. =)
I have decided to combine Iris's sketch with this months Belles 'n Whistles Calendar page. I really had some fun with this one. I masked 2 of the newest BnW images, for this awesome April Calender which of course is when most people do their Spring Cleaning. =)
This is the fabulous Sketch that Iris has created for us to use.
So in taking that sketch and using it for my April Calendar I came up with this
So you see, Belle (and her twin) are very very busy with their Spring cleaning. One is doing the vacuuming, while the other one is running by with the laundry. Oh those girls work hard, don't they? LOL
I used my cricut to cut the letters for the month, and I made my layout a bit bigger than I have in the past, I think I like it better this way. It has a little bit more of a scrapbook page feel to it. Now I think I want to go back and re-do Jan - March to match. ha ha... Yes I'm picky! LOL Besides, I don't know why I didn't think of the cricut to cut the letters before now! What a dope I can be sometimes!
Anyway, I hope you've enjoyed this months Belles 'n Whistles calendar page. Iris gave us such a great sketch to work with. You'll definitely want to check out what the rest of the DT did with it! =)
Thanks for stopping by today. I will be posting a Magnolia card that I also made this weekend later on today or tomorrow.
