And start hoping along!

If you have arrived here from Jacque's Blog
then you are on the right track.

I can assure you that you will fully enjoy taking a look through
The BnW DT's blogs to see what they've been working on,
Even though my crafting mojo has been a bit under the weather
These days, I still tried to come up with something to show all of you.
So I hope that you will take the time to leave each of us a comment.

The winner will be announced on Thursday
Thanksgiving Day here in USA
WHAT do you have to do for a chance to win this months
COMPLETE release???

Leave us a comment and let us know you were here.
It's that simple.

You can get these gorgeous stamps at the Belles 'n Whistles Store,
And Will begin shipping out next week.
Hurry, Hurry, don't be late!
Are you excited yet?

Now, with all of that being said,
I guess I can finally show you what I've created for this
Fun filled event!

In sticking to the Gifts and Gift Wrap theme
I decided that I would first of all create an adorable
little zipper pull for a very special girl.
She loves to hang them on her jacket and her backpacks.
So I created this for her, using the brand new
Gingerbread Corner
stamp on some
of that shrinky dink plastic,
Added a chain, and some strands of beads.
and there you have the perfect little zipper pull.

I then created a gift box, (Matchbox style) only larger.
I decorated it to match what was inside.

Even the inside cover displays "Gingerbread Corner"
Everything coordinates with everything else!
Sorry, it's just how I am! LOL
The gift bag -  well, I filled it with ginger snap cookies.
Every little girl likes to have a little sweet treat to herself, right?
You didn't think that you'd get away with a BnW blog hop without
at least some form of food here, did you? LOL

Here is a closer picture of the gift box closed with the
slide over cover on it.

And last but certainly not least,
The Card
Every gift needs a very special card to go along with it, right?

I used some of the same DP's that I used on
the box, and the gift bag, but too much of that
and the card would have been much too dark.
So to lighten things up, I decided to take plain white
cardstock, and create my own DP.  I sponged some
green ink lightly over the paper, and then found a picture
of a gingerbread man online.  I printed it out in the size that
I needed, and then carefully cut him out with my Xacto knife.
Not the gingerbread man himself, but the paper I cut him from
then became my stencil.
I used a brown ink, and sponged over the stencil to create
the gingerbread style paper.

To add a little something extra, on the front, I then used
bronze embossing powder, and embossed around these
little gingerbread men.

Of course, I HAVE to show you the inside of the card as well.

I used the "Gingerbread Love" stamp from last months release
To tie in the actual gingerbread men with this card.
I then did the same process for the background paper here
That I did on the front.  However, I did not emboss these gingerbread men.
I was happy with the end result, especially considering that I just couldn't get
With the program this week.

This concludes what I have to show you,
I hope that you have been enjoying yourself so far.
Your next stop will be our beloved Anki.
I just know that she will blow you away with what she's created.

Happy Hopping!
