TGF's Farm Fresh Friday - Vintage Challenge

Happy Saturday!
I am officially on my little vacation!
No no, I didn't go anywhere, but it's great
to have a full 9 days free from those little rascals at school.

Last night I worked on a card for this weeks
"Greeting Farm" Farm Fresh Challenge
It's all about making something look vintage.

Are you kidding me???
Now what am I going to do?
I really wanted to use these adorable little monkeys
from the Marina Neira collection called "Sweet Tooth"
But this challenge really stumped me!
Apparently I just don't have a lot of things on hand
to go with the vintage look.
So I gave it my best shot.

This is what I came up with.
I added mini punched squares of black and white paper
to resemble those old soda shop floors.
O f course the red and white DP was a given.
I used Aged Photo distress ink to make everything
have the aged look, but other than that
my mind was blank, I couldn't think any further.

Regardless of whether this look vintage or not,
I am pleased with the card in general.
Of course, how could I not be?
Those little monkey's are just darling, and
so much fun to color.

So that's all from me for now.
Maybe I'll be back later with something else,
I'm not sure yet.
But whatever you do, you won't want to miss the
Valentines Day Blog Hop for
The Greeting Farm Tomorrow evening.
You are in for a HUGE treat for sure!
It starts on TGF's blog at 8PM CST.

Don't you just love all the links?  Any one you click on
will lead you to the right place!  ha ha

Have a Great Saturday!

This card is adorable! Before I even read your message, I thought that the floor looked like an old fashioned soda shop -- it totally works!
