It's Time To Accessorize!!!

Good morning my Elisabeth Bell Friends.... It was my turn to post over on The Digi Bells Blog today, what a great source of many Elisabeth Bell projects and cards.  Have you visited there lately?  I thought I would share a little bit of fun with you.
Like the title says, It's time to accessorize.  What a title that is too.... So fitting for what I've done.

My daughter who is just about 14 months old now has hair that seems to want to be in her eyes ALL the time.  I can't stand that, but I do not want to cut it either.  Little by little I've been picking up this type and that type of hair clips.  Her hair is just so thin and fine that it took several different types to see what would actually STAY in her hair the best....  So needless to say... What do I do with ALL those different hair accessories????

Well.....  You do this, Don't you?

I've used "Fairy Merrily" from Elisabeth Bell's Digital Collection
and she is PERFECT for such a project. Don't you think?

My image was colored using Copics as well as a couple of Prisma colored pencils.
This box was originally a cloth covered cigar type of box, with a Shoe Lace style closure.
I did a complete transformation, and made this box that had been collecting dust, into something my daughter would love and enjoy for many years.
Topped with layers of Mod Podge, I think this will hold up quite well over time.

All of my flowers were punched with regular punches, and then put together.
The 3 larger flowers in the center were created using the
Large and Medium "Retro" flower punch from EKSuccess,

The Rosebuds on the sides were punched, from an EKSuccess Gardenia Flower.
However the petals were individually cut off, and rolled, and glued,
and I just did my own thing.  I used my McGill tool kit, and rolled, and manipulated the petals,
and worked them into what you see in the photos.

The punched leaves and branches are from my Martha Stewart punches.
The butterfly is actually an old pop up paper punch that I cut out to use here on this project.  Nothing like making use of some old things that are just sitting around, right?

Lots of Tim Holtz "Vintage Photo"  inked edges are seen on this project, as well as Tim Holtz "Worn Lipstick" (on the Rosebuds edges) I've also used Stickles "Star dust" glitter on the wings, and Ranger "Liquid Pearls" are added as accents around the image.
